stuck in the apartment
So the story goes like this. On the third of July it was business as normal. I have been working in St Louis for the summer, and it has been going fairly well. Any way, on this particular morning I was helping my boss distribute equipment to all the technicians (I am installing home security systems for the summer. At the moment I think we have 14 guys installing for this office.) James (pictured below) had recently bought a dirt bike, and had been working on it. He had just got it running and asked if I wanted to try it out. I said ok and climbed on. I had recently learned to ride on a much smaller bike, and though I should have thought it through before I cracked the throttle I did not. I reved the bike a little, let go of the clutch, and shot forward about fifteen feet before promptly running into a car. Needless to say I came off the bike. When I got up I was a bit shaky, but I thought I was alright. I examined my self for injuries, and soon discovered that I had a good gash on my left shin, that went nearly to the bone. I had James leave a note on the car I had hit while another technician went to get his car so he could drive me to the ER. To make a long story short I got four internal stitches, and six external stitches. I decided to take the day off, and then worked the next two days. After that my leg started to swell and it became harder to walk. I have now been taking it easy for about a week, though I hope to be able to work on Monday. other than that I am quite well, and doing my best to be happy. I will post again when I feel like it.
